Barnabas and Maria are delighted to share that they have officially become grandparents.
Their granddaughter, Joy, was born on 23rd May 2026 during the May heat wave.
Her Korean name is also pronounced Jo-Y, which beautifully connects with her English name, Joy.
Her name carries a lovely meaning:
“A child who creates joy” and “a person who brings peace and joy to others.”
Barnabas and Maria give thanks to God for Joy’s safe arrival and are deeply grateful for all the prayers, blessings, love and kind messages from the church family.
