We hold numerous social and fund raising activities and events and are part of the village life. Some start as “one off” maybe musical events which are often repeated time and again by popular request. Every month, on the fourth Saturday, we hold Saturday Brunch from 11.30 – 1.00 PM A menu & price list is published on our web site the week before. People come for a chat, to meet new friends and sometimes for support over lunch or maybe just a brew. Everyone is welcome.
Our musical events, usually with supper, are extremely well attended. We are proud to have presented local entertainers some solo and some groups and bands including the late, wonderful Tony Berry, the Travellin’ Strings, the Hoover Band and most recently a fabulous Beatles singalong by the Kaleidoscope Band. These have provided essential funds both for church and very worthy charities such as the Alzheimer’s Society.
The Friendship Group meet every Monday at 14.00 for a brew and natter but sometimes to prepare for particular events in the years calendar. The outdoor poppy display for the 2018 centenary was the brainchild of our Church Secretary, Roma, and created by the Monday group who, as you can see from the photographs, sometimes go to extraordinary lengths!
Slimming world hold 3 classes every Tuesday at 9 AM 5 PM & 7 PM.
We started a Film club in 2022 originally meeting one a month, this has proved very popular & we now meet on the second & fourth Wednesday of each month at 6 .30 PM. See our Facebook section for details of past & future films & indeed any other forthcoming events.
Mother & Toddlers meet every Wednesday from 9.0 to 11.0 AM.
We hold a regular weekly coffee morning every Thursday from 10.00 – 11.00 AM for a brew and a natter.
Bolton age UK hold a strength & balance class every Friday from 1.00 -2.30 PM.

The most important feature of all these events is the community is outreach and engagement. We endeavour to be there for all who need us.
