Dear Friends
Please find attached information about various ways that our members can connect with this year’s Thy Kingdom Come campaign.
I am sorry that we won’t be able to run the family prayer adventure on Zoom as we had hoped as it requires more technology than we anticipated but there is a link for people to access all the activities and information for themselves.
Sadly it is not going to be possible to do what we had planned so the daily prayer at 6pm from Thursday 21st up to Pentecost won’t be happening…However there are still lots of great ways in which you can pray and connect with the 2020 Thy Kingdom Come (TKC) campaign!
Greater Manchester Churches Together 24-7 Prayer Room
Thursday 21st May to Sunday 31st May

I know some of you have already signed up to this but it is a great way to join in with sisters and brothers from all over our area to pray for one hour or more in a virtual prayer room.
If you click on the link above you will see there are still plenty of slots left to fill…and you don’t have to leave the comfort of your own house!
It’s a particularly good way of passing an hour or two if you are struggling to sleep at night but day or night you are welcome to join in even if you have never done this kind of thing before.
Family Prayer Adventure
This year TKC have produced some great new material for tech savvy families with a digital prayer adventure. You can download the app, print off the map from the website from the link below and you’re good to go!

This is a brilliant way to get people of all ages thinking about the Bible and praying together creatively.
Alongside these are daily prayer podcasts to help you focus on the different themes.
Praying in isolation
There is a whole host of resources on the TKC website to help us pray from Ascension to Pentecost. If you can’t access the internet then please contact either me, Richard Bradley or your Church Secretary/ Leader/ Contact Elder and we’ll do our best to get resources to you.
The 2020 Prayer Journal (see link below) is a helpful and inspiring tool to guide and focus through the 10 days. It can be printed off or you can just work your way through as you read and reflect.

Praying in community
At our Missional Partnership coffee mornings on Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays we’ll be using some of the resources to help us reflect and pray so please feel free to come along and share in a great time of fellowship. The Zoom links are available from either myself or your church contact .
Every Blessing
